Producers at Rosa Opera No opera story is complete without a well thought through lighting design, helping to intensify the drama and to draw audience into the story. At Rose Opera we are delighted to have been working with talented Roberto Ventruti who designed lighting for Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta and Mozart’s Idomeneo, set in the beautiful Victorian Normansfield Theatre, Surrey, England. Roberto’s understanding of technical possibilities is excellent, he is professional, supportive and a great team member. We look forward to working with Roberto again.

WOCo Company Manager Roberto approached the design of our production of ‘La Boheme’ with a remarkable investment of imagination and visual poetry, of energy and technical expertise and a lively participation in the teamwork which the production values of our open-air production with a modest budget require. His background in lighting design, and his engineering qualifications make him reliable in terms of conception and adaptability, and his taste for the theatre and music make him responsive to the repertoire.
